Lefthand Canyon Drive at Glendale Gulch - Closed on Wednesday and Thursday - Will open at noon for a pass

Kelley Trucking will be setting the new box culverts at Glendale Gulch next Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 7 and 8, weather permitting. In order to safely complete this work, they will need to close the road in both directions at Glendale Gulch starting at 6:30 a.m. both days. The road will be reopened at noon for a pass in each direction then will be closed again until dark (approximately 4:30 p.m.). Glendale Gulch Road will also be closed during this time.This should be the last major travel delay associated with the reconstruction of Lefthand Canyon Drive.

This work is weather dependent. I'll post another message if the culvert install is postponed.

Other Work Items in Lefthand Canyon

You may have seen that the entire road (minus Glendale) has been paved and striped, which means the project is almost complete. Kelley will be working on punch list items throughout the canyon for the next two weeks. Some of this work may require short delays (1 minute) and flaggers will be used to move you safely around the work.

We're planning a ribbon cutting ceremony for Friday, Dec. 16 at Buckingham Park. I'll provide more information as soon as details are finalized.
