Lagerman Agricultural Preserve to open Monday, June 26
Celebration of New Open Sky Loop set for 9 a.m.
Boulder County, Colo. - Lagerman Reservoir, located just west of Longmont, will be expanded and renamed Lagerman Agricultural Preserve.This expansion and the new Open Sky Loop trail will be opened to the public following a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Boulder County Commissioners and Parks & Open Space staff.

Where: Lagerman Reservoir Trailhead,
7100 Pike Road, Longmont
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the event. The ceremony will mark the preservation of 659 acres of active agricultural land adjacent to Lagerman Reservoir and 5.5 miles of new trail.
A future expansion to the south will add an additional trail and views of another 600 acres of active agricultural land. A total of more than 2,000 acres will be preserved as part of the Lagerman Agricultural Preserve.
