James Canyon permanent flood recovery project set to start May 15, 2017

James Canyon Drive flood repairs and James Creek restoration project starts May 15

Community meeting on Monday, May 1

Boulder County Transportation and Kelley Trucking, Inc. will hold a community meeting to share information about the permanent flood recovery work on James Canyon Drive and in/along James Creek, which is anticipated to start on Monday, May 15.

Monday, May 1, 2017
6:15 to 7 p.m.
Jamestown Town Hall in Jamestown, CO

Meeting attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the project from the contractor and the county and will also be given time to ask questions.

Project Information:

  • Working Hours = 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday
  • May 15, 2017 through December 2018
  • Road will be reduced to one lane, at times in multiple locations, to accommodate road work
  • In certain locations, single-lane closures will be in place 24 hours a day/7 days a week
  • Flaggers and traffic signals will be used to move travelers safely around the work zone
  • NO FULL ROAD CLOSURES
