Injured Mountain Biker

Mountain biker sustains leg injury.

Boulder County, Colo. - On October 8, 2017, at approximately 1:30 p.m. the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Left Hand Fire and Rocky Mountain Rescue responded to Left Hand Canyon, in the "Five Points" area of Forest Service Road 287 on the report of an injured mountain biker.

Charles Purshouse, a 40 year old Niwot man was found after he had fallen from his bike and sustained a possible broken leg. Responders extricated the man to a waiting ambulance and he was transported to the Boulder Community Hospital for further treatment.
