Injured mountain bicyclist
Boulder County, Colo. - On September 26th, at approximately 6:05pm, Boulder County Communications received a 911 call regarding a 14 year-old male who crashed his mountain bike at the Boulder County Betasso Preserve Open Space.
Personnel from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Boulder County Parks and Open Space, Sugarloaf Fire Protection District, Rocky Mountain Rescue Group and an American Medical Response ambulance responded.
The victim, a competitive member of the Fairview High School mountain bicycling team sustained minor injuries when he crashed on his bicycle. He was located on the Loop Link Trail and evacuated to an ambulance, where he was examined and released to his mother.
