Boulder County, Colo. -- Boulder County Parks and Open Space and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Wildland Fire Management Program have postponed the first of three planned prescribed this fall because of the fire ban enacted for the western part of Boulder County.
The Overlook prescribed burn at Heil Valley Ranch was scheduled to occur between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2. The two remaining planned burns will only take place if the fire ban has been lifted and hot and dry conditions improve.
