Incident occurred at the Cemex Lyons Plant located in the 5000 block of Highway 66

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 3:45 p.m. this afternoon, an employee with the
Cemex Lyons Plant, located in the 5000 block of Highway 66, made contact with a
male trespassing on the property. The male pointed a gun at an employee and
then took off on foot.

Deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, as well
as members of SWAT, a negotiator, and K9 officers from Lafayette Police
Department and Longmont Police Department responded. An AMR ambulance, Hygiene
Fire, and Boulder Emergency Squad were also staged nearby in case they were
needed.

The male eventually surrendered to deputies on scene. There
were no injuries to law enforcement personnel nor the suspect.
