Fatal accident on Highway 128 in Superior

Male driver was pronounced dead at the scene

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 3:26 p.m. the Boulder County Communications
Center received a report of an accident that took place on State Highway 128,
within the Town of Superior, between McCaslin Boulevard and State
Highway 93.

The accident involved a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck.
The male driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado State Patrol, Rocky
Mountain Fire District, North Metro Fire Rescue District, Louisville Fire
Department, Colorado Department of Transportation, Boulder Emergency Squad, and the Boulder County
Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.

The cause and manner of death, as well as the identification
of decedent, will be released by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office associated case number
is: #17-6672.
