Paving operations will be moving through the intersection of Valmont Road and 75th Street starting at 9 a.m. this Thursday and Friday, June 22 and 23. Drivers and cyclists can expect delays of up to one-hour in all directions on Valmont and 75th while this work is completed, so alternate routes are advised.

Work will take place between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. both days. The project is part of the county's annual resurfacing program.

Advance preparations for paving are currently being completed on Airport Road between the Diagonal Highway and the Longmont city limits. Paving will move to this section of road after work is complete on 75th Street, which is anticipated for late next week. Airport Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction while paving takes place.

After Airport Road is complete, crews will move to East County Line Road and will work on repaving the stretch of roadway between Hwy 52 and the Longmont city limits.
