The body of a 28-year-old man was discovered early Wednesday evening

Boulder County, Colo. - At approximately 5:30pm, a person recreating along the Coal Creek Trail southeast of the intersection of E. South Boulder Road and S. 120th Street found the body of a 28-year-old man in a wooded area near the creek, just off the trail. The hiker immediately called 911 to report the situation.

At that point, patrol deputies and a detective with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, along with an investigator from the Boulder County Coroner’s Office, responded to investigate the scene.
