Correction: Boulder County’s Coordinated Election Audit Open to Public

Note: The first version of this release stated Tuesday as the 11th, not the correct date of Tuesday, Nov 10.

Boulder County, Colo. – The public is invited to observe the Boulder County Election Division’s 2015 Coordinated Election voting equipment audit beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. The audit is a post-election quality assurance test that ensures the accuracy of the machine tally of votes.

Members of the public can observe the audit process at the Boulder County Ballot Processing Center, 1750 33rd Street in Boulder (check in on 2nd floor at the Elections Division). Ballots will be manually tallied and compared with machine tallies beginning Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. until complete (likely by 4:30 p.m.) for the state audit, and continue Wednesday if needed.
