CONE ZONE: East County Line Road flood recovery reconstruction project starts May 15
Expect occasional
lane-closures
Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder
County Transportation will begin a flood recovery project at the East County
Line Road bridge over Boulder Creek, located just north of Highway 52, at 8
a.m. on Monday, May 15. Travelers can expect occasional single-lane closures
between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., weekdays, on East County Line in order for crews to
safely complete the project. Construction is expected to last until late July. When
lane closures are not in effect, the roadway will be narrowed and speeds will
be reduced. Please use caution when moving through the area.
The
East County Line Road bridge over Boulder Creek was damaged during the 2013
Flood. Repairs will be made to the bridge abutments and guardrail and there
will also be stream embankment restoration.
