Community Meeting (March 15) for the Upper Fourmile Creek Restoration Draft Design

The March 15 meeting will include a presentation,
a Q&A session, and an open house for viewing the draft design
and providing comments.

Boulder County, Colo. - Funding has recently been
secured for creek restoration in portions of Upper Fourmile!
Boulder County, in partnership with the Fourmile
Watershed Coalition, is sponsoring the restoration design for Upper Fourmile
Creek approximately from Sunset to Salina Junction.

A community meeting is
planned for Tuesday, March 15. We will
share
updates on the design plans and describe unique creek values that they are
meant to protect.

This is an important
opportunity to provide feedback on any needed changes or questions before the
final stream design is completed. We will also discuss the anticipated
construction timeframe and permission forms needed from property owners in
order to do the restoration work. No
work will be done on your property without your permission.

Draft 30% design plans are
now available and can be viewed at:
www.BoulderCountyCreekPlan.org.

Please provide
any written comments by March 18, 2016.
