Boulder County Community Chipping Program applications now being accepted


Boulder County is proud to announce a new Community Chipping Program for 2018. Information and a new, simplified online application is available at: bit.ly/BoCoChipping. The application deadline is March 26, 2018.


The county encourages mountain communities to submit an application for a community chipping event as part of wildfire mitigation efforts. Every community that submitted an application received funding in 2017.


Communities and organizations that received funding in 2017 were Saws and Slaws, Crestview Estates Residents Group, the Town of Gold Hill, Magnolia Road/Preserve Unique Magnolia Association (PUMA), Rocky Mountain Fire District, Sugarloafers Against Wildfires (SAWS), Seven Hills of Sunshine Canyon, St. Anton Highlands First Addition Homeowners Association, Sugarloaf Fire Protection District, and Sunshine Fire Protection District.
