Closure Notice: Clerk and Recorder’s offices will close at 11:30 a.m. on July 14
Offices will reopen the following day at 8 a.m.
Boulder County, Colo. - On Thursday, July 14, all Boulder County Clerk and
Recorder’s offices will close at 11:30 a.m. for employee development. This
includes our Boulder, Lafayette, and Longmont offices and all three divisions:
Elections, Motor Vehicle, and Recording. We will reopen the following day at 8
a.m. and resume normal hours of operation.
Onsite services will not be available after 11:30
a.m. on July 14. We advise those who desire onsite service to either visit
before closing time or on the days before or after the closure. Additionally, we
encourage our Boulder County clients to visit bouldercounty.gov and navigate
to the appropriate department to see if the particular service they are seeking
is available online, such as vehicle registration renewal or voter
registration.
This specific closure date was chosen from
historical data as to minimize the impact on the public. Mid-month is
historically when we receive the least number of visitors to our offices.
“It takes a strong team to provide the best in the
public service,” stated Boulder County Clerk & Recorder Hillary Hall. “There
is no time during our normal business hours to bring our staff all together
from all three branches. We have wanted to hold an all-staff team meeting for
several years and we are finally executing on that vision. The employee
development activities we have planned will strengthen our team in supporting the
excellent service and stewardship we strive to provide to Boulder County
residents. I thank the community for their understanding and flexibility with
this short closure.”
