Boulder County Parks & Open Space Hosts Catfish Night on Friday, June 9

Boulder County, Colo. - Summer Catfish
Night is an opportunity for anglers to fish at night when Stearns Lake is
usually closed.

Catfish Night will be on Friday, June 9 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at Stearns Lake at Carolyn
Holmberg Preserve
. Anglers can find access to the trailhead by taking Dillon Road to South
104th Street.

Check-in is required at the
parking lot area off of South 104th Street.

A few details:

  • All
    ages welcome, anglers 16-years of age and older must have a current Colorado
    fishing license
  • Artificial
    and live bait are both allowed
  • Shore
    fishing only
  • A
    headlamp or flashlight is recommended
