Boulder County hosts Age Well conference on Friday, Oct. 28

Top national and local presenters focus on health and aging,
registration required

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County is aging. By 2040, more than a quarter of the county’s
population will be over the age of 60. Join the Boulder County Area Agency on
Aging (AAA) for the 5th annual Age Well Conference, Friday, Oct. 28 in Longmont. The
full-day event brings together organizations and professionals to learn, share
and network to better serve and understanding older adults.

When: Friday, Oct. 28, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Where: Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, 1850 Industrial Circle,
Longmont

The 2016 conference theme is health and aging. This event will feature
a presentation by AARP to Boulder
County designating the county as an Age-Friendly Community, and a keynote
by Dr. Bruce Chernof, MD, FACP,
President & CEO of The SCAN Foundation.

The conference includes more
than a dozen sessions and features 20+ local and national presenters on topics
including aging and health technologies, the future of long term care,
ColoradoCare/Amendment 69, the social determinants of health, upstream
thinking, understanding dementia, and more.
