Registration is open!

Boulder County, Colo. - Boulder County Parks & Open Space is hosting a bus tour through a sampling of Boulder County farms on open space properties. This tour will focus on Conservation Easements - what they are and how they contribute to open space in Boulder County.

Participants will meet local farmers and learn about what they grow and the spectrum of agricultural production systems, issues, challenges and opportunities on Boulder County Parks & Open Space agricultural lands. These tours are very popular and have gained local and national recognition.

The tour will start at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont. Participants will travel in air-conditioned buses equipped with restrooms and a PA system to farms throughout Boulder County.

When: Thursday, August 23 - 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Boulder County Fairgrounds - 9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont

Registration is required. Cost is $5 per person.
