Agricultural Heritage Center opens Saturday, April 1 for the 2017 season
The center will be open Fri. through Sun., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Boulder County, Colo. - The Agricultural Heritage Center at the Lohr/McIntosh Farm, 8348 Ute Highway 66, Longmont, will open its gates for the 2017 season on Saturday, April 1.
At the farm, visitors can enjoy the rural setting and mountain views while learning about the rich agricultural history of Boulder County.
Site Highlights:
- Farm animals on site including chickens, pigs, draft horses, and sheep
- A farmhouse built in 1909
- Interactive exhibits in the big red barn for all ages to enjoy, including a real tractor cab
- Two barns, milk house, blacksmith shop (in use during special events), and many historical planting and harvesting implements
The center will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 31.
