Boulder County is continuing the process of updating the current 2012 International Building Codes to the latest 2015 editions. The new codes
are proposed to be effective in unincorporated Boulder County for all
building permit applications received after January 1, 2016.

Tuesday, August 11, 12 – 1:30 p.m.: Colorado Green Building Guild August Brown Bag, “Proposed 2015 Boulder County Building Code Amendments,” at the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder, Houston Room, 1750 33rd Street, Boulder, CO 80301.
Tuesday, September 1, 2015, 4 – 6 p.m.: Boulder County Board of Review public hearing to take action and make a formal recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, at the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, Main Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, CO 80302.
Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 2 – 4 p.m.:Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing to adopt the proposed code updates, at the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, Main Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, CO 80302.
Monday, January 4, 2016: All building permit applications received for projects in unincorporated Boulder County will be subject to the new 2015 codes.
