The 2015 Boulder County Building Code update meeting/hearing schedule has been revised, and an additional Board of Review public hearing has been scheduled.
Boulder County is continuing the process of updating the current 2012 International Building Codes to the latest 2015 editions. The new codes
are proposed to be effective in unincorporated Boulder County for all
building permit applications received after January 1, 2016. A summary of the proposed 2015 Building Code updates and more information is available on the Board of Review page.

(New) Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 3 – 5 p.m.: Board of Review public hearing to take action and make a formal recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners,at the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, Main Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, CO 80302.
(Date changed) Thursday, October 22, 2015, 2 – 4 p.m.:Board of County Commissioners Public Hearing to adopt the proposed code updates, at the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, Main Courthouse, 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, CO 80302.
Monday, January 4, 2016: All building permit applications received for projects in unincorporated Boulder County will be subject to the new 2015 codes.
