Continuing Services for the Maintenance of Stream Restoration Projects

| Other Comments: | In 2017 and 2018, Boulder County completed the construction of nine stream restoration projects throughout the county as part of the flood recovery effort. As landscape vegetation and geomorphology of the new stream systems becomes established, some reconstruction may be required to address erosion. Boulder County is seeking qualifications and unit costs from qualified stream restoration contractors to perform repairs of floodplain, stream bank, and in-stream structures of previously constructed stream restoration projects as needed. A sample contract, programmatic specifications, unit bid items, a map of project areas, and a link to the as-built drawings of stream restoration projects that may require maintenance are attached. Individual project bids will be requested on an as-needed basis and specifications for some projects may be added or changed as required at the time of specific project bids. Awarded vendors will be expected to enter into a 2 year continuing services contract with the county with the option to renew for 3 more one year terms. No work is guaranteed by an award of a contract.
