Public Hearing: Docket DC-18-0003 Agriculture-Related Amendments
Staff will present proposed text amendments to the Land Use Code pertaining to agricultural uses and definitions. The proposed amendments reflect input from a multi-departmental Agriculture Outreach Project effort, from Planning Commission during a September study session, and from a public referral process. Following the staff presentation the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hear public comment on this item, and staff will request that BOCC approve the proposed text amendments. Primary areas of focus for the amendments include farm events, farm sales, structures to extend the growing season, and potential changes to land use review processes for producing farms.
