DESCRIPTION:Hybrid Meeting: In-Person and Zoom Webinar\nThe county commissioners take general public comments on any matter not being discussed in another current public hearing process.\nOpen public comment addressed to the County Commissioners typically occurs at 9 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month unless the date falls on a holiday or needs to be rescheduled due to a calendar conflict. Members of the public can sign up to speak in advance or on the day of public comment. Public comment is taken in-person (in the hearing room) or virtually via Zoom. \n\nCheck the Commissioners’ Advance Agenda to confirm meeting date one week prior to regularly scheduled date.\nReserve a speaking spot using the either the “In Person” or “Virtual Attendee” link on the Commissioners’ Advance Agenda.\nDay of Public Comment: Visit the Open Meeting Portal to find the link to join (or sign up to speak) virtually.\n\nEach speaker (up to 10 people) will be able to give public comment to the commissioners for three minutes each. DESCRIPTION:A Public Hearing will be held before the Boulder County Board of Review to review the Wildfire Resilience & Ignition Resistant Materials\, Construction\, and Defensible Space updates to the Boulder County Building Code. It is anticipated that the committee will be making a recommendation regarding these updates to the Boulder County Commissioners regarding their adoption. This update is needed to meet the requirements of the 2025 Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code as approved by the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code Board. \nBy statutory authority\, the Boulder County Board of Review hears and decides technical appeals to the interpretation of the Boulder County Building Code Amendments\, which apply in the unincorporated areas of Boulder County\, not in incorporated cities or towns.
