How do these changes compare to biodiversity evolution over much longer periods of time on the front range? What animals\, plants\, and life forms might we experience on a hike in 2120? How might we respond to these unprecedented changes and help protect and even restore some of our ‘more than human kin’ that share our Boulder County home?\nRegistration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. \nRegistration required. \nRegister \nRegistration is required through Discover Boulder County\, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. Staff supports this acquisition. \nMariposa Passage\nBoulder County proposes to acquire fee title to 2.43 acres owned by the Ranegar Revocable Living Trust for $365\,000. The property has an address of 1540 Lefthand Canyon Drive\, is located approximately 1.3 miles west of the intersection of Lefthand Canyon Drive and State Highway 36 and is adjacent to Heil Valley Ranch open space. Staff supports this acquisition. \nAlexander Dawson-2024 United Power Easement Taking\nUnited Power proposes to acquire a permanent non-exclusive easement over a portion of the Alexander Dawson open space property to provide more reliable electrical power in the area.
