Learn how our local elections work and ways you can stay empowered and involved! \nClerk Molly Fitzpatrick will explore how Boulder County and Colorado’s election model are designed to be both accessible and secure. You will learn how your ballot moves through the process once it’s returned\, including the safeguards that protect every step of ballot processing. She will break down complex topics in a clear\, transparent way and answer community questions throughout the event. \nClerk Fitzpatrick will also cover voter rights and share ways to get involved\, including the opportunity for students 15 and older to apply for election judge positions\, both behind the scenes in Ballot Processing and working with the public in Vote Centers. \nElections staff will be available to help you register to vote or update your registration. \nThis program is free and open to all\, but registration is required. SUMMARY:Logic and Accuracy Test (LAT) - 2026 General Election
DESCRIPTION:The Boulder County Elections Division will conduct a Logic and Accuracy Test (LAT) on Tuesday\, Sept. 29\, on ballots and equipment to be used for the 2026 General Election. \nThe test ensures voting system equipment properly tabulates votes. Each type of ballot and all ballot styles will be tested to verify they are properly printed and read by the scanning equipment. The test will also confirm that scanning equipment settings are properly calibrated for the ballots. This event is to the public but RSVP is requested due to space limitations. \nTesting will take place in the Ballot Processing Center at 1750 33rd Street in Boulder. Testing will begin at 10 a.m. and will take until at least 5 p.m. You do not have to stay for the full day. Additionally\, the testing may continue into Wednesday\, Sept 30 given the length of the ballot. \nAfter testing concludes\, results will be available on our website. \nEmail Vote@BoulderCounty.gov or call 303-413-7740 if you have any questions about the LAT.\n \nComplete this form to RSVP by 5 p.m. Monday\, Sept. 28
