SUMMARY:Longmont Juneteenth Family Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Boulder County is a sponsor of 2024 Longmont Juneteenth Family Celebration\nThe goal of the annual Juneteenth Celebration in Longmont is to celebrate our diverse community\, and come together to share\, educate\, and appreciate one another. We must go back to our roots to move forward. We should reach back and gather the very best of what our past has to teach us. The inaugural Juneteenth Celebration in Longmont was held in 2022 and hosted hundreds of community members. \nLongmont Celebrates Juneteenth is a healthy\, family-oriented event through its alcohol-free\, tobacco-free\, and cannabis-free standard. We are also committed to becoming a zero waste event. The event includes musical and fashion entertainment\, vendor and information booths\, activities for kids\, drum line performances from local high schools\, and tons of great food! We would love for you to join us for this celebration\, and plan to celebrate regardless of weather conditions. Please make sure you are prepared!  Several county departments will host booths and share information about services and assistance available from Boulder County.
