Limited Impact Special Review for approximately 61,064 cubic yards of non-foundational earthwork for permanent road repairs and stream restoration along a 14-mile stretch of State Highway 7 between the Town of Lyons and State Highway 72. The application is submitted by Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) c/o Brian Varrella (applicant) in accordance with the Boulder County Land Use Code. The proposed project is in the Agricultural, Rural Residential, and Forestry zoning districts, located along State Highway 7 east of its intersection with State Highway 72 and west of its intersection with US Highway 36 in the Town of Lyons, located in the following: Sections 1-4, Township 2N, Range 72W; Sections 34-36, Township 3N, Range 72W; Sections 5-6, Township 2N, Range 71 W; Sections 24-27 & 32 34, Township 3N, Range 71W; and Sections 18 & 19, Township 3N, Range 70W.
