SUMMARY:Climate Equity Fund Office Hours: Built Environment
DESCRIPTION:Join these open office hours to chat with Boulder County staff about the Climate Equity Fund. For this session\, staff with expertise in waste reduction and energy efficiency in businesses and nonprofits will be available. \nRegister for the online meeting. \nAbout Climate Equity Fund Office Hours\nBoulder County will offer several office hours where interested community members can learn more about the Climate Equity Fund and the resources available to help applicants understand the application and the program. During these sessions\, prospective applicants may ask county staff from both the Climate Equity Fund and other sustainability and climate-focused programs to share their past experiences running their funds and reviewing applications. Staff can highlight common traits of strong proposals and explain why it’s important for applicants to align their ideas with the goals of the program. \nStaff will not give feedback on anyone’s individual project idea or application. While staff will provide links and helpful information based on existing resources\, it is up to each prospective applicant to develop their own project and prepare their own proposal.

SUMMARY:Risk Limiting Audit (RLA) - 2026 Primary Election
DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to observe the Boulder County Election Division’s 2026 Coordinated Election risk-limiting audit (RLA) beginning on Tuesday\, July 14. \nThe risk-limiting audit is a test that helps ensure the accuracy of election results and provides the public with evidence that election outcomes reflect the votes cast by voters on their ballots. To ensure tabulation was accurate\, the process reviews how a ballot’s votes were captured at the time it was processed by comparing a sample of paper ballots with digital tallies. \nTo learn more about risk-limiting audits\, see the Secretary of State’s FAQs on the RLA. \nView our recent press release to learn more about the audit and upcoming canvass board meeting. \nTesting will begin with seal verification starting at 12 p.m. Presentation and ballot pulling to begin at 12:30 p.m. The RLA could continue into Wednesday\, July 15\, and Thursday\, July 16\, if necessary. \nPlease RSVP by Monday\, July 13 at 5:00 p.m. to Vote@BoulderCounty.gov as space is limited.
