DESCRIPTION:Children ages 3-6 will love to visit the farm to learn about animals\, plants\, and agricultural life. So many things are growing in our Green\, Green Garden! Come learn about all the wonderful ways our garden is growing. All programs include a short story time\, hands-on activities\, and a take-home craft. Afterwards\, explore the farm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.\nRegistration for most programs begins on the 20th of the month before the event. \nRegistration is not required for this activity\, but you can still sign up to be notified in case the event is unexpectedly canceled. \nSign Up \nRegistration is optional through Discover Boulder County\, Parks & Open Space’s volunteer and event registration system. If you’re new to the system\, you’ll need to create an account. But it’s easy and we only use your contact information to communicate about events you register for. We will never sell or give your information to a third party.

DESCRIPTION:Join volunteer naturalists and astronomers from the Longmont Astronomical Society for a summer night astronomy program. Together\, we’ll learn about the night skies and view the celestial bodies residing in our galaxy and beyond.\nMercury\, the smallest planet in our solar system\, may be small\, but it has some big secrets. Join us to learn more about this mighty planet that closely orbits the sun and all of its surprising qualities.  \nBring a chair or blanket\, a light jacket\, and a red flashlight\, and get ready to enjoy a night out with the family. The presentation is at the picnic shelter. It is followed by stargazing in the parking area.
